The pagoda is a symbol of the architecture of the past and the future. Taipei is the capital of Taiwan. The country has experienced a huge number of earthquakes over the centuries, however, no case of destruction of the pagoda has been recorded. The first secret is in its form. The five-stage pagoda has about a thousand articulated joints, which gives it flexibility. The second secret is the multi-level pagoda. Each new part of the pagoda, located on top is smaller than the previous one, and, thanks to the flexible hinge joint, it makes it very resistant to ground fluctuations. The main idea of the author is to harmoniously connect the urban environment, history and nature. The ultra modern building consists of streamlined parts, which contain exhibition halls and observation platforms. The building is inspiring and represents a dance of modernity on the carpet of history with the traditions of ancestors.
